Department

• Zachary L. Willfond, 19, of Newton, was arrested on a Newton Police Department warrant after he turned himself in at 10:31 p.m. Monday at the Newton Police Department. He was taken to the Jasper County Jail.

• Jason A. Browning, 39, of Melbourne, Fla., was arrested on two Jasper County warrants for failure to appear after he turned himself in at 1:36 p.m. Monday at the Newton Police Department. He was taken to the Jasper County Jail.

Sheriff’s Office

• David A. Riley, 29, of Kellogg, was charged with driving while license denied or revoked after authorities pulled him over at 7:11 p.m. Friday at the intersection of West Second Street South and South Third Avenue West. He was taken to the Jasper County Jail.

• Barbara K. Heater, 71, of Newton, was charged with third-degree criminal mischief after authorities were called at 3:14 p.m. Thursday to the Jasper County Animal Rescue League. Officers were told that Heater walked out of the JCARL building upset with employees and intentionally drove her vehicle into the back end of a parked JCARL van, causing damages to the vehicle. She was taken to the Jasper County Jail where she was released on $2,000 bond.
