The following local students have been named to the Dean’s List at Drake University: Brooke Thompson of Mingo; Newton residents Katherine Hadsall, Collin Jacobsen, Brian Jones, Donald Monroe, Claire Roush and Bryce Tish; and Troy Smith of Reasnor. This academic honor is achieved by earning a grade-point average of 3.5 or higher during the fall semester.
The following local students have been named to the President’s List at Drake University: Madison Bagnall and Kaylie Hills, both of Newton; and Rachel Stafford of Prairie City. This academic honor is achieved by earning a perfect 4.0 grade-point average during the fall semester.
