Trisha and Nick Oftedahl of Newton, announce the birth of their son, Liam Bentley Oftedahl, born Jan. 9, 2018, at Skiff Medical Center in Newton. He weighed 8 pounds, 3.9 ounces and measured 20 inches. Liam joins siblings Jordan, 7, Landon, 6, Shae, 6 and Xander, 2.
Grandparents are Lorna Walls of Newton, and Christin Cones of Waupaca, Wis. and Kenny Hines of Grinnell.
Great-grandparents are Betty Albertson of Newton and Dianna Rempp of Reasnor.
