• Michael D. Cassidy, 38, of Newton, was arrested on two Jasper County warrants for probation violation at 8:37 p.m. Wednesday at 600 E. Fourth St. N. He was taken to the Jasper County Jail.
• Mark T. Faircloth, 49, of Newton, was arrested on a Jasper County warrant for parole violation at 10:49 p.m. Wednesday at 315 E. Fourth St. S. He was taken to the Jasper County Jail.
• Alyssa M. Bright, 27, of Newton, was arrested on a Jasper County warrant for a two-day minimum on an original charge of possession of drug paraphernalia. She was taken to the Jasper County Jail.
• Alexander L. Shultz, 28, of Newton, is charged with operating while under the influence after authorities pulled him over at 6:18 p.m. Dec. 10 on First Avenue West. Officers found Shultz had droopy eyelids and was talking and moving slowly. He told officers he had taken suboxone. He failed several sobriety tests. Officers also found a used syringe in his left pocket. He was taken to the Jasper County Jail
