PEO BH

Eleven members of PEO BH met at the home of Jeanne VanGenderen Dec. 4 and enjoyed a Christmas party, including a large variety of delicious treats prepared by MC (2), and a gift exchange. The meeting was opened with reading from Mark 1:1-8 and prayer.

In January our group will celebrate its 120th anniversary. We plan to make this a special meeting and will call, email and send notes to members who have not been able to attend lately. We will take pictures and are reminded to update our family’s pages on 8 inch by 11.5 inch paper to be added to the historical book.

Motion made and approved to make our annual donations to each of our seven International and Iowa projects as well as to scholarships for PCM seniors.

Karlin Hjortshoj, Lori Schakel and Eunice Keuning were appointed to the nominating committee.

Our next meet will be Jan. 9 at the home of Karlin Hjortshoj, with Dianna Nolin serving a co-hostess, and a Founders’ Day Program given by Ami Burns.
