DAVENPORT — A church in Davenport that feeds the homeless has agreed to accept an offer of $15,000 from the city to settle a lawsuit that alleged the city, two council members and the zoning administrator violated its religious freedom rights. A judgment was entered Friday in federal court confirming the settlement between the city of Davenport and Compassion Church and its two pastors. The church operates Timothy’s House of Hope which serves breakfast to the homeless.
