Jasper County Conservation Board will host an Older, Wiser, Livelier Seniors program Nov. 8 at the Jasper County Conservation Office, 1030 W. Second St. S. in Newton. The public is invited to come for 10 a.m. coffee and a program about the lake restoration project at Mariposa. Learn about what will be accomplished, the timeline for the project, and about what the lake will look like after restoration is complete. This program is free and open to the public.

The OWLS program is a conservation program that encourages seniors to stay active and learn new things about the natural world.
