Baxter student takes second in Halloween Costume contest

The annual Des Moines Area Community College Ankeny Campus Student Activities Council sponsored 
Halloween Costume was during the noon hour Monday. The top three winners include: first place, from 
left, Trent Ahern of Ankeny, a second year business student dressed as “Hornet Man,” Blake Geilenfeldt 
a second year student from Baxter, as “Nacho Libre,” and Luong Tran of Des Moines, a second year 
Robotics students as “King Kong.” The first place winner received $75, second place received $50 and 
third place garnered $25.
