Newton Police Department
• Susan A. Tiffany, 48, of Newton, was charged with operating while under the influence, third offense, when officers observed a vehicle next to a mailbox that appeared to be struck at 100 N. 15th Ave. W. Officers saw the vehicle parked very close to a large evergreen bush and the driver had to walk into the bushes to exit the vehicle. The driver was identified as Tiffany and she failed two field sobriety tests. Tiffany was arrested and taken to the Jasper County Jail.
