David R. Jensen

David R. Jensen, 77, of rural Newton died on Friday, Oct. 20, 2017 at the Newton Health Care Center in Newton.

David's memorial service will be 10:30 a.m., Friday, Oct. 27 at the funeral home.
The family will greet friends from 5 to 7 p.m., Thursday, Oct. 26 at the funeral home.
Memorials to the American Cancer Society or to the Jasper County Historical Museum may be left at the funeral home. Memorials may also be mailed to the funeral home, please add, Attn: Jensen Family on the envelope.

Those left to honor David’s memory are his wife, Margaret of Newton; children, JoAnne (Mike) Holcomb of Rock Island, Illinois and Mike Jensen of Newton; his brothers-in-law, Craig (Jan) Johnstone of Grinnell and Mark Johnstone of Lacona; his sister-in-law, Janice Hendricks of Pella; several nieces, nephews and many friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Henry H. Jensen.
