CHARLES CITY — A Charles City man has been convicted of second-degree murder in the June shooting death of another man.
A Floyd County jury deliberated about two hours before finding 36-year-old Antoine Williams guilty Wednesday of killing 36-year-old Nathaniel Fleming June 30 in Charles City. Williams faces up to 50 years in prison when he’s sentenced at a later date. Police said Williams shot Fleming, of Mason City, several times before pulling Fleming out of a vehicle and fleeing the scene.
