Former Pastor Carrie Lewis LaPlante will bring the message at the 10:30 a.m. service Sunday at Holy Trinity Church as it continues to celebrate the 60th Anniversary of the congregations founding.
Unable to be present during the Aug. 5-6 celebration weekend, LaPlante agreed to be present with Holy Trinity for a Sunday this fall.
LaPlante served as pastor of Holy Trinity from 2005-2008. She currently serves Faith Lutheran Church in Eldridge as the senior pastor.
Lunch will be offered following the worship service. The Wolf family will provide pulled pork sandwiches. The Hospitality and Fellowship Team is asking members and friends of Holy Trinity to bring side dishes to accompany the pork. The community is invited to share in the worship.
