JEFFERSON — Prairie City-Monroe’s volleyball team lost a four-set Heart of Iowa Conference match to Greene County on Tuesday night.
The Rams snapped a 19-match losing streak with a 25-15, 25-18, 20-25, 25-12 win in front of their home fans.
PCM played the match without the services of its top hitter, junior Maddie Samson. Samson missed the game due to injury.
Senior Regan Olson finished with eight kills and five blocks to lead the Mustangs (9-16 overall, 1-5 in the HOIC), and senior Kenzie Johnson collected five kills and 10 digs.
Senior Madison Foster tallied 27 assists and three kills, junior Avery Stock tallied five kills and senior Olivia Lippman claimed 11 digs.
Before Tuesday, the Rams (6-22, 2-4) last won on Sept. 9.
PCM hosts North Polk (20-15, 3-3) at 7 p.m. Thursday in Monroe.
