Close call in Sunday rollover accident

No one was seriously injured in a two-car rollover accident Sunday near Oakland Acres. According to a 
report released Monday by the Jasper County Sheriff’s Office, a car traveling eastbound on Highway 6 at 
12:49 p.m. lost control, hit a mailbox on the right shoulder and struck a westbound SUV after over 
correcting. The SUV rolled into the north ditch. The driver of the car was cited for failure to maintain 
control. Grinnell Fire and EMS, Kellogg EMS and Iowa State Patrol assisted at the scene.
