Jeremy Armison of Reasoner bowled a 300 game on Sept. 18 at Monroe’s Mustang Lanes. Armison had a 707 series for the night in the Monroe Men’s City League.

MONROE — There’s something on the lanes at Monroe’s Mustang Lanes bowling alley. Two weeks in a row, a men’s league bowler has recorded a 300 game.

Jeremy Armison was the latest bowler to tag the pins for a 300 at Mustang Lanes. He rolled the perfect game during a 707 series while bowling for true D&R Roofing team in Monroe Men’s City League action on Sept. 18.

“I finally got the Monroe monkey off my back. This is the first 300 I’ve bowled here,” Armison said. “I wasn’t nervous during the game but the last frame I was a bit nervous.”

Armison, who lives in Reasnor, said he has rolled about seven or eight 300s in his career. The 26-year-old said he has been bowling since he was 8 and bowled in youth leagues growing up

“It felt easy. The game went so quickly, I really didn’t have much time to think about it. I just bowled,” Armison said.
