The contractor working on the parking lot at the McDonald’s, 726 First Ave. E. in Newton, will be cutting and pouring concrete for the new approach into the restaurant.
Beginning Friday morning, the westbound lane will be closed as they cut the new approach and QTC will be handling traffic control. They will remove the barricades overnight and use them again on Saturday as concrete is poured for the new approach.
This lane closure will help to ensure the workers safety as they continue the progress on McDonald’s. Driving carefully through the area is advised.
