DES MOINES — Amateur brewers from across the state competed for top honors in the Iowa State Fair Oenology – Beer competition, judged on Aug. 3, prior to the state of the Fair.
Jonathan Blair, of Newton, was awarded first place for his entry in the American Stout and Porter category.
