Two Emilys complete 1,000 books program

The Newton Public Library had two finishers of the 1,000 books program, Emily Cantu, left, and Emily Schweinebart, right. The 1,000 Books Before Kindergarten is an ongoing program at the Newton Public Library, designed to encourage parents to read to children every day. Both Emilys will start kindergarten this fall.
