MASON CITY — A September trial has been scheduled for a Mason City man accused of abusing a 5-month-old baby in his care.
Court records say 27-year-old Jeremy Rose filed a written plea of not guilty last week to one count of child endangerment resulting in serious injury. His trial is scheduled to begin Sept. 26.
Rose was arrested after officers and medics were called the night of June 22 to help the baby, who was having difficulty breathing.
