Kellogg Garden Club
Pat Patty gave a presentation on conditioning cut flowers at the recent meeting of the Kellogg Garden Club.
Conditioning provides the special treatment between garden and vase to insure lasting freshness. The optimum time to cut fresh flowers is evening.
In July club members will tour an Oskaloosa farm garden designated Iowa’s Most Beautiful Farmstead by Our Iowa magazine.
Members continue to weed and water 5 public gardens in Kellogg this summer.
