Mrs. Judith (Judi) Marie Hess Warner, 78, of Cedartown, Ga., passed away peacefully at her home, surrounded by family Monday evening, June 19, 2017. Mrs. Warner was born July 30, 1938, in Newton, to her parents, the late Burl Hess and Esther and Merle (Bus) Gearhart (step-father). She is preceded in death by her loving husband, Fredrick “Keith” Warner and a grandson, Gavin Josiah Warner.

Mrs. Warner retired from the City of Cedartown, serving in an administrative position. Prior to her retirement she also served as a secretary for the Maytag Company in Newton. She loved life, her family, yoga and cycle classes at the Rome-Floyd YMCA, Bible study groups, Presby Magnolia Women and the alumni of Newton High School Class of 1956. Mrs. Warner was an active member of the Grace Presbyterian Church of Cedartown.

She is survived by her loving family including, daughter, Teri Warner (Kim Canada); sons, Dave Warner (Jill Baldwin), Chuck Warner, Eric Warner (Lisa Warner); and her furry critters, Fannie and Kurt. A number of grandchildren and great-grandchildren also survive.

As per Mrs. Warner’s wishes, after cremation and arrival of out of town family members graveside and interment services for Mrs. “Judi” Warner will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday afternoon, July 9 in the family lot of the Greenwood Cemetery with the Reverends John Ragland and Matt Rabe officiating. The family will be receiving friends at the Warner residence, 126 N. College St., Cedartown.
