Vernon Company announces executive changes

The Vernon Company has announced several new executive appointments.

Dave Cook has been appointed Treasurer and will serve as a Company officer. Cook is also responsible for the finance departments of the Company, as well as the accounting for two subsidiaries, Dun-Lap and Vernon Display Graphics. He started with the company in March 2012 following a career first with Maytag and then Iowa Telecommunications/Windstream communications in the treasury and accounting areas. Cook is originally from Britt and has a bachelor of arts degree in business management from William Penn University and a bachelor of science degree in accounting from AIB College of Business. He and his wife Becky currently reside outside Pella with sons Grant and Spencer and daughter Avery.

Additionally, Cameron Vernon and Stephanie Vernon Critchfield have been appointed vice presidents.

Vernon has served numerous field sales roles including area and Western division manager in a career that has spanned almost 32 years. Vernon is a member of the $18 million career sales club, soon to reach $19 million and is presently the leading active career sales leader in the company. Vernon also serves as a member of the Vernon advisory board. Vernon graduated from Texas Christian University. Presently, he has served as senior account executive and lives with his wife, Kristen, and daughter, Madison, in Carmel, Calif.

Critchfield has been with the Company for 8.5 years and serves as western region sales manager. She formerly worked in the news industry as a sales manager for the Sun Sentinel in Boca Raton, Fla. Critchfield also serves as a member of the Vernon advisory board and is a graduate of Southern Methodist University. She and her husband, Marshall, presently live in Newton and have two daughters, Whitney and Jane Hadley. Critchfield and her family have plans to move to Virginia in August where Marshall has accepted a new position in the U.S. Department of Interior.

All changes become effective July 1.
