Joanne (Snyder) Austad, 81, former Newton resident, died Tuesday, April 25, 2017, at Lakeside Hospital in Omaha, Neb. A memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Friday, June 16 at the Congregational United Church of Christ in Newton and burial will take place at Newton Union Cemetery.
