Aurora Heights students connect with NHS class of 2017

Aurora Heights Elementary hosted a Grad Walk assembly Thursday afternoon. Newton High School class of 2017 graduates from student council told the Aurora Heights students what they wanted to be when they were in elementary school and gave the young students advice. Principal Jim Gilbert and school counselor Catherine Ferguson also talked about what graduation means and shared their advice with the elementary students. After the assembly, Aurora Heights students lined the hallways of the school to give congratulatory high fives to the NHS grads.
