AMES — Grace Perrin, of Newton, has been recognized for the excellence of business ideas presented at the Entrepreneurship Showcase competition hosted by the Iowa State University College of Human Sciences.
Perrin won runner-up in the Technology Innovation Award category for her and her team’s “Slate Planners” business proposal. Perrin worked alongside Anna Hall and Bailee Person to develop their business proposal. The showcase was April 27 in LeBaron Hall on the Iowa State University campus in Ames.
Perrin is a junior event management in the College of Human Sciences.
