Newton Senior High School graduating class of 1972 is planning their 45th class reunion Saturday, June 3. The venue will be the VFW Hall at 315 First Ave. W. in Newton. A Mix and Mingle Happy Hour will kick off the evening at 5:30 p.m. and dinner will be served beginning at 6:30 p.m.
“Many of us look forward to Newton’s Reunion Weekend. We enjoy getting together to reminisce and catch up with friends and classmates. Our committee is planning a fun-filled evening that we hope everyone will enjoy.” Dan Fisher, president of the class, said. “As we did in 2012, we will once again raise money so the class can donate to an education-based charity in Newton.”
The backdrop for this year's reunion will be a festive and colorful beach party theme that includes an on-site photo booth for taking fun pictures. The cost is $35 per person and includes happy hour wine, beer and munchies as well as dinner and dessert. Advance reservations are required and can be made online at NHS1972.org
