Volunteers make annual Cross Walk a success

Newton’s downtown churches hosted the annual Way of the Cross Walk on Good Friday, April 14. The Mission Coalition, which organized the walk, would like to thank St. Stephen’s Episcopal Church, First Lutheran Church, First Christian Church, Congregational United Church of Christ, First United Methodist Church, United Presbyterian Church and First Presbyterian Church for hosting a stop during the walk.

In addition, we would like to recognize and thank the volunteers whose participation made the walk possible. Mission Coalition is an ecumenical group of churches that works to help those in need and support the faith life of our community. Good Friday next year will be Friday, March 30 2018. We encourage you to put this date on your calendar and plan to join us for this time of worship and reflection.
