The First Baptist Church, 620 S. Eighth Ave. E. in Newton, will have a trailer by the garage to drop off bottles and cans.
The money collected from the pop cans will be donated to the Jasper County Animal Rescue League. The trailer will be on site until June 1 and will be emptied daily. Organizers ask that the bottles be separated from the cans. If for some reason the trailer is full, bags can be placed beside the trailer.
