On the Easter egg hunt

Dozens of parents and families lined up around the Jasper County Courthouse Thursday evening for the Newton Main Street egg hunt. In its first year hosting the event, the nonprofit wanted to try something new in the downtown area, said Newton Main Street Director Graham Sullivan, who said volunteers and candy donation from Newton Hy-Vee made the event a success.
