The Newton Fire Department received a $1,500 donation from Windstream in Newton on Tuesday. Windstream’s office has a snack and drink room where employees buy treats regularly. All of the money from those items has been donated to the community. The Newton Fire Department will use the donation for ambulance equipment. Windstream has donated a total of $8,500 to the NFD.
