DECA places three at state conference

Fifteen Newton DECA students competed at the State DECA Conference in Des Moines on Feb. 26-27.

DECA is a business club for emerging leaders and entrepreneurs interested in marketing, finance, hospitality, and management.

Award Winners were: Carson Cazett, first place; Branden Telepnev, third place; and Zach Combs, third place. Honorable Mentions went to: Benny Cheng, Brad Portner, Noah Petersen, Cole Cazett, Makayla Kelleher, Kyle Hansen and Rhandyn Oldfield.
