Newton Christian School will hold its Kindergarten Roundup from 8 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, at the school, 1710 N. 11th Ave. E. Children who will be 5 years old by Sept. 15 are eligible for kindergarten.
Newton Christian School is an accredited, interdenominational, private school well regarded for its nurturing environment, which specializes in academic, moral and spiritual development. Newton Christian has small class sizes, with a 12/1 average student to teacher ratio. The kindergarten class will attend all five days of the week. The school offers several specials including art, Spanish, music, library, P.E., chapel, field trips and integrates the use of technology at all grade levels.
