CEDAR RAPIDS — Authorities in eastern Iowa say a distracted driver has crashed into the side of the Linn County Sheriff’s Office building. The crash happened Wednesday morning. The red sport utility vehicle appeared to just miss a light pole after jumping a curb, running over a sidewalk and the office’s lawn before hitting the building. No injuries or serious damage to the building were reported.
