The Newton community has the opportunity to hear from someone who delivers Days for Girls kits, some of which are created at St. Luke United Methodist Church. Nora Tobin from Self-Help International will speak about her experiences at the 8 and 10:30 a.m. services on Sunday at St. Luke.
Days for Girls is geared toward helping girls in countries including Ghana and Nicaragua stay in school every day of the month and avoid pregnancy until they have completed their education and are financially and developmentally ready to care for a child.
