WEBSTER CITY — Webster City police say a local school board has been arrested and charged in a sex abuse case.
Police said 64-year-old Paul Steven Stenger, of Webster City in central Iowa, has been charged with lascivious acts with a child and second-degree sexual abuse. If convicted, Stenger could face up to 35 years in prison. Police say the arrest stems from allegations made against Stenger by a person under 18 who says the abuse occurred over the past two years.
