Grinnell First Friends Church’s 30th annual Live Nativity, featuring live Biblical characters and animals that portray the Christmas story, w ill be presented on the church lawn from 6 to 8:30 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.
Three scenes from the shepherds in the field to the manger scene to the traveling wisemen tell the blessed story in vivid color and action.
Viewing is from one’s vehicle so the bringing of children, the handicapped and the elderly is encouraged. There is often time to pause for several minutes or to drive through a second or third time. Characters in different costumes rotate every 25 minutes so often the scenes will look different on a second viewing.
