Michael “Mick” Reavis

Michael “Mick” Reavis, 67, of Newton, formerly of Grinnell, died Thursday, Nov. 24, 2016, in Newton.

A celebration of his life will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday, Nov. 28 at the Smith Funeral Home in Grinnell with the Rev. Tom Lloyd officiating. Interment with military rites will be at Lower Blue Point Cemetery southeast of Grinnell.

Mick is survived by his son, Michael (Lisa) Reavis of Newton; siblings, Peggy Young of Salt Lake City, Utah, Paula “Cookie” (Bill) Ferguson of Des Moines, and David (Deirdre) Reavis of Bellevue, Neb.; and his step-daughter, Heidi (Randy) Kirkpatrick of Newton. He was preceded in death by his parents; and his sister, Frances Creamer.
