To say the least, the upcoming election is one that will have people talking for years to come. It has been unbelievable. I can’t think of another word to use. It has left many people trying to decide what is the truth and whom to put their faith in. What is real and what isn’t?
It is so incredibly important that we choose the right people to lead us. Specifically, candidates who really care about the people they represent. That is why I am endorsing Wes Breckenridge for state representative in the Iowa House District 29.
Wes is intelligent, approachable, ambitious and very motivated. He has worked incredibly hard the past year to become your state representative. I have seen it first hand. He hasn’t expected others to do the work for him. The people that are helping him are doing so because they believe in him and he is working right beside them. Running for office is not an easy task if your doing it right.
Wes knows what concerns we all have, from education funding to funding for our Veterans and everything in-between. He has made an effort to seek out those individuals, both private and professional that deal with these issues every day and educate himself. He goes the extra mile. He will listen to our concerns and find ways to make our lives better. I believe he will do an outstanding job.
Finally, it is so important to exercise your right to vote. You can go to the auditor’s office and vote right now. You can request an absentee ballot and vote in the comfort of your own home. You can go to the polls and cast your ballot on Nov. 8. Your vote counts.
