On Oct. 31 through Nov. 4 The Jasper County Sheriff’s Office will be accepting food donations for a local food pantry.
All donations will go to the East Jasper Christian Food Pantry. The Jasper County Sheriff’s Office food drive will be accepting nonperishable food item donations for the food pantry. Items include: macaroni and cheese, soups, ramen, rice, dry beans, pastas, pizza sauces and mixes, canned fruits, canned vegetables, peanut butter and jelly, cereals, oatmeal, pancake mixes and syrup, puddings, snacks and much more.
Please bring any nonperishable food donations to a collections box located at the Jasper County Sheriff’s Office or your local police department. Boxes will be located at the:
• Jasper County Sheriff’s Office
• Newton Police Department
• Colfax Police Department
• Monroe City Hall
• Prairie City Police Department
