Doug Cupples is a candidate for Jasper County Supervisor. I first met Doug when I was in middle school; he was my youth pastor at Community Heights Alliance church. Doug was instrumental in building my faith as a teenager and setting up my faith to be an adult. There were many Wednesday nights that he spent hours talking to us and spending time building our faith.
Years later I had the pleasure of working with Doug at Lauterbach when purchasing my vehicles. He was, and has always been, very fair, low pressure, and is known to throw in a few jokes. More than anything, Doug has a high level of respect for the customer, which is very hard to come by, if not impossible, when buying a vehicle. Doug also worked hard to make sure I got the deal I was looking for and the best vehicle for me. Last but not least, today after knowing Doug for 12 years, I believe he has the character to perform the duties of county supervisor; he is a man of respect and dignity.
Doug also has the business knowledge to bring a financially smart approach to the county supervisor position that will help the county moving forward. Doug, being a person that lives by the Golden rule, is running for the people of Jasper county, which shows in his character. Doug will benefit Jasper County when he is elected.
