Nursing students at Iowa Valley Community College in Marshalltown were among the 80 walkers in the Oct. 15 NAMI of Jasper County Mental Health Awareness Walk on the Berg Middle School track. The students raised about $1,400 of the more than $4,500 raised to help fund NAMI Iowa programs. Sponsors of the walk include Capstone Behavioral Healthcare, House of Mercy, Integrated Treatment Services, Optimae Life Services and Progress Industries.
