PETERSON — A northwest Iowa man has been killed in a single-vehicle crash near Peterson. Norman Eastman, 79, of Spencer died of injuries suffered in the crash Friday. Eastman was pronounced dead at Spencer Hospital. Authorities say Eastman was driving east on Iowa Highway 10 near Peterson at around 7:30 a.m. Friday when he lost control of his truck entered the south ditch and field before striking a utility pole.
