Matt “The Armless Archer” Stutzman, of Fairfield, shows how he holds the bow with his feet at a Des Moines Area Community College Diversity Commission-sponsored presentation at the Ankeny Campus. Stutzman is a 2012 Paralympic Games silver medalist and the Guinness World Recorder Holder for the longest accurate archery shot of 300 yards. Stutzman was born without arms and self-taught himself how to use a bow.  Stutzman used humor and creative problem solving skills to overcome adversity and rise to the top in the archery profession. Stutzman was a silver medalist in the 2012 Paralympic Games in London, competed in the 2016 Paralympic Games in Rio and has his eyes set on the 2020 Games in Tokyo. Stutzman also spoke at the DMACC Newton Campus.
