Sacred Heart will host Smart Discipline For Parents Seminar from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Oct. 27 at the church, 1115 S. Eighth Ave. E. in Newton.
This free, two-hour seminar is taught by Jim Garnett, Nationally Certified Parent Trainer, who brings to each seminar more than 30 years experience in family counseling. With a blend of humor and honesty, he describes the problems parents face and offers practical solutions. This proven system works for ages 3-18 and can be adapted for almost setting. Books and tapes will be available.
