The Newton Public Library is hosting a pumpkin decorating contest during the month of October. Pumpkins may be painted, dressed or accessorized, but not carved. Contest entries will be accepted for youth/family and adult categories, between Oct. 14 and 21.
The public will be invited to vote for their favorite pumpkins beginning Oct. 21, with winners receiving a Halloween treat basket. Call 641-792-4108 with questions.
