I was pleased to hear that Patrick Payton was seeking to represent us in the Iowa House this year. Having known Pat for many years and having worked with him on a number of projects, I am keenly aware of his capabilities and his passion for helping others.
Payton is a gifted lawyer and an all-around great guy who will represent Jasper County with the level of statesmanship that our county deserves. He is considerate of others and has absolutely shown a willingness to work with anyone — regardless of their politics.
I hope you will join me and my family as we cast our votes for our friend — Patrick Payton — on Nov. 8.
