The Jasper County Pheasants Forever Chapter will be holding its annual banquet Saturday at Fore Seasons south of Newton. The doors open at 5:30 p.m. with the dinner beginning at 6:30 p.m. served by Magg Catering.
The banquet will include a general raffle, games, a live auction and a silent auction. There will be a special raffle for youth that evening. The cost of is $55 for a membership dinner, $20 for a spouse dinner and $12 for a youth meal.
All the money raised from event will stay in Jasper County to support local conservation efforts. Event attendees are encouraged to contact Lisa Damman by Tuesday to reserve dinner tickets by calling 641-417-9424.
Over the past few years, the Jasper County Pheasants Forever Chapter has helped finance habitat projects near Rock Creek State Park, supported the new pollinator plot at Agnes Patterson Park, sponsored youth activities hosted by Jasper County Conservation and local high school trap shooting teams, donated sorghum to area landowners to create food plots and donated to habitat projects around central Iowa.
