Are you or your teen heading off to college? The Newton Senior High School will host a free financial aid presentation 6:30 p.m. Sept. 15 in Room 11 at Newton High School.
The guidance office has invited a representative from the Iowa Student Loan College Access Network to provide a free financial aid presentation.
The presentation is geared to high school seniors and their parents. High school juniors and their parents are also welcome to attend.
Topics will include: completing the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid), electronic processing, deadlines, overview of the financial aid process, types of financial assistance available, scholarships and scams, helpful tips and where to go for help.
