I am writing this letter as a support for the Jasper County United Way. The organization that does so much visible and non-visible efforts that support all aspects of Jasper County. But, this is in an effort to encourage citizens, that love the community and the people of the community, of the tremendous need there is for a unified support system for United Way. I want to highlight just a few of the things that United Way does.
• All of the money raised in Jasper County stays in Jasper County helping its citizens.
• United Way offers opportunities for one donation that will continue to help dozens of Jasper County nonprofits continue with their efforts to help those in need to learn and practice skills that will ensure a healthy community.
• UWJC is able to raise funds for small nonprofits that are run by volunteers or small staffs that do not have the resources to fund raise for themselves at the same level as Untied Way.
Please consider donating, volunteering and supporting your United Way of Jasper County.
