Michael F. Ogden

Michael F. Ogden, 71, of Goodyear, Ariz., formerly of Newton, died Friday, Aug. 26, 2016 of lung cancer. He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Eleanor Ogden, and one son, John Ogden. He is survived by his wife of 51.5 years, Janet Maxwell of Collins, his children: Sheryl (Paul) Schaffran, Timothy (Shanelle) Ogden, and Matthew (Tamara) Ogden, grandchildren: Joshua (Sarah) Schaffran, Gregory Schaffran, Nicholas Schaffran, Caitlyn (Dylan) Shepard, Levi Ogden, and Emily Ogden, and one great-grandchild. Services were held in Phoenix at Hillside Baptist Church on Tuesday, Aug. 30 at 10 a.m. Burial will be at Ashton Cemetery near Mingo. Funeral arrangements made by Chapel of the Chimes Mortuary, Glendale, Ariz.
